AFGE National has approved the offering off AFLAC benefits to members. District Nine locals are among the first being offered the chance to sign up for them. The attachments to this message are for the Hospitalization and Accident insurance, the Cancer insurance, and the Heart Attack and Stroke insurance. AFGE has arranged that these insurance coverage’s are offered at a discounted rate compared to what the general public would pay. In addition to the lower price, AFGE negotiated a deal where the Accident and Hospitalization policies are offered at as a package instead of individually.
